Sub-Saharan African countries have gas reserves with little infrastructure and market. Most of the gas produced in association with oil is flared and the development of non-associated gas reserves lack market and financial incentives. The Africa Gas Initiative (AGI) Study is aimed at identifying countries where gas flaring could be reduced, for better utilisation in the industrial and commercial sectors of their economies. Countries included in the study are Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, ...
