Introduction
The International Labour Organisation (ILO), the only tripartite international organisation, has a variety of instruments directed towards ensuring that all can aspire to what is termed 'decent work'. At the top of the hierarchy are the ILO Conventions. These international labour standards, when ratified by a member state, incur obligations concerning their implementation.
