Abstract
Global consumption of natural gas is expected to grow significantly in coming years as large parts of the world transition away from the use of coal and oil and towards a low carbon energy system. Much of this gas will need to be transported long distances and across oceans. Doing so will entail ever greater reliance on liquefied natural gas (“LNG”).
