Abstract
p>Pursuant to the United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982, maritime delimitations shall be effected by agreement and, by default, by international conciliation or judicial adjudication. Faced with little recourse to the latter, the paper raises the question whether States' interest should be to have recourse to international conciliation to perform some of the remaining delimitations.
