Introduction
The Camisea project in Peru is undergoing due diligence investigations for proposed expansion into its second phase. The expansion represents a concerted effort on the part of the Peruvian government and energy investors in Peru to go ahead with projects in spite of recurrent protests by indigenous and non-governmental groups.
