Introduction
The "Mercado Común del Sur" ("Mercosur") is at present an incomplete customs union that projects to become a community of States, crafted much like the European Union, which will purportedly become the "South American Community of Nations" . Currently, full member countries of the Mercosur are Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, while its associate members are Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
