Dr. Peter Strachan

Dr. Strachan is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the Aberdeen Business School, Department of Business and Management. He has published in the areas of energy policy/ corporate environmental management, and telecommunications policy. Current editorial responsibilities include being the Editor for Progress in Industrial Ecology: An International Journal (published by Inderscience) and is the Book Reviews Editor for Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management (published by Wiley/Interscience). Dr. Strachan is an external examiner at the Leicester Business School, UK, including their overseas Associate Colleges in India and Hong Kong. Other responsibilities include: being a staff representative on Academic Council; a member of the Aberdeen Business School Senior Research Committee; Director of Studies/Principal Supervisor for 4 PhD students; and Director for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Programme. Dr. Strachan is the coordinator for the modules Leadership and Strategic Management on the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Programme and Environmental Policy and Management on the BA (Hons) Management Programme. He has also taught a number of other strategy/management modules on a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in the past.
