Mrs. Ohenewaa Boateng Newman LL.B, Q.C.L, LLM, has been in private legal practice for over four years now and has gained vast experience in both civil and criminal litigation. She is an associate lawyer with Obeng-Manu Law Firm, one of the renowned law firms in the history of Ghana. She has also been engaged as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Education-Winneba specialising in Business law and Company and partnership Law. By her keen interest in research and particularly in the oil and gas sector, she was awarded the GNPC Oil and Gas Learning Foundation Scholarship to study for the award of LLM Oil and Gas Law at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. She has acquired a strong knowledge in Upstream Oil and Gas sector which involves key considerations like exploration and production, environmental regulation, alternative dispute resolution, contracts, fiscal regimes in various regions. She has a firm grasp of Ghana's petroleum related laws and its application in the industry. She is also passionate about green energy for the future.
