Education
Zulfiya has Kazakhstani and international education. In 2006 she successfully graduated from Fordham University School of Law in New York with Masters Degree (LLM) in International Business and Trade Law. In addition, Zulfiya holds Masters Degree in Law from Warsaw University Institute of International Law with a concentration in EU law.
Zulfiya undertaken courses, seminars and conference related to many legal areas in Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and USA, including antitrust law, corporate law, securities regulations and Islamic financing.
Zulfiya fluently speaks English, Polish, Kazakh and Russian languages.
Experience
Zulfiya is a representative of GRATA Law Firm in the United States, New York office. She has extensive experience in corporate, finance, commercial, investment and banking law.
As a lawyer of Finance and Securities Department of GRATA Law Firm (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Zulfiya assisted in legal support and maintenance of many various operations, including but not limited to advising international lenders in relation to loans to Kazakhstani banks; issues surrounding participation in the Kazakhstani securities market, guarantees and collaterals.
Before joining GRATA Zulfiya worked as a consultant on European and Commonwealth of Independent States market for large international trading company Trilini International Ltd., NY, USA.
Zulfiya has working experience in diplomatic structures.
