Guillaume Lemenez is Associate Legal Officer at the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs in New York, where he advises the United Nations and its agencies on matters pertaining to dispute resolution and contract law.
Before joining the United Nations in July 2008, Guillaume served as International Case Manager at the New York office of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, where he worked on commercial arbitrations and mediations since 2007.
From 2005 to 2006, Guillaume worked at the New York office of Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP. Guillaume also clerked with several law firms in Paris, France and in Caracas, Venezuela.
In 2005, Guillaume received a Master of Laws in International Legal Studies, with honors, from Georgetown University Law Center, U.S.A., where he was a member of the International Economic Law Institute. In 2004, he graduated with a Master of Laws in International Economic Law from Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne, France. He also holds a J.D. degree from Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Guillaume is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, U.S.A. and in France.
