Abstract
The Energy Community Treaty establishes that Contracting Parties to this Treaty shall achieve compliance of their legislation with the EU acquis on energy infrastructure, followed by implementation of the EU acquis on energy, competition and environment. This will result in making the Energy Community energy market an integral part of the EU energy market. The EU acquis on electricity includes two definitions for the concept of an interconnector.
