Trinidad and Tobago-Venezuela Framework Unitisation Treaty

Introduction
This treaty was signed in Caracas on Tuesday 20 March, 2007. Prime Minister Patrick Manning signed on behalf of Trinidad and Tobago and President Hugo Chavez signed on behalf of Venezuela. As far as I am aware, this is only the second of this type of framework agreement to be ratified in relation to oil and gas field unitisation, with the other being between the UK and Norway (signed in April 2005) discussed by Cameron, above.
